3 Days Rwanda Culture Tour

Detailed 3 Days Rwanda Culture tour

DAY 1: Transfer To Musanze Visit Ibyi Iwacu Cultural Village

This morning after breakfast at 08:00 am, Your guide will pick you from your hotel in Kigali to start your 3 Days Rwanda Tour and visit Kigali city where you will enjoy a scenic- transfer to Musanze with several stopovers for photography(2h30min drive). On arrival, you will check-in at your lodge followed by lunch. Thereafter visit ibyiwacu cultural village. IBYIWACU CULTURAL VILLAGE is changing traditional perceptions of what constitutes tourism by turning fate into fame through sharing various aspects of rural cultures and livelihoods into tourist attractions and creating income-generating activities for rural poor people that have lived on bushmeat, and poaching for generations. The village provides tourists with experiences beyond wildlife viewing, the people, culture, and how they live. The village also gives a chance to the visitors to enjoy the eight different local dances, listen to Gorilla songs, and local food preparations, visit the local healer, visit the king’s place and get to hear all the old stories. After the cultural entertainment, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: Gorilla Trekking and Visit Dian Fossy Tomb

Your day starts as early as 6:00 am with a drive to the Volcanoes National Park offices for the 7:00 am briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations. At 8:00 a.m., you will then begin your stroll. The highlight will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily lives, feeding, playing, resting, and raising their young. Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla. It also contains a rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, including evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are on the menu.

DAY 3 : Transfer for Kigali city tour and Departure

Depending on your departure flight, you will transport to Kigali in good time for your departure flight, we target 8:00 am to get to the city. After lunch, we’ll start the city tour.
