4 Days Akagera National Park

DAY 1: Kigali/Akagera National park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport for your 4 Days Akagera National Park Rwanda Safari, preferably on a morning flight. Meet our guide ready for a transfer to Akagera National Park. Upon your arrival at Akagera south gate, drive to your lodge for check-in. The afternoon/evening is spent on a behind-the-scenes experience of the park. This highlights conservation efforts by the park management

DAY 2 : Akagera National Park(Am boat ride/Afternoon game drive)

After your breakfast, you will go for a boat excursion on Lake Ihema, which will take you to the island that inhabits several species of birds. Lining the lakes are some of the continent’s densest concentrations of water birds, while the connecting marshes are the haunt of the endangered and exquisite papyrus gonolek, and the bizarre shoebill stork – the latter perhaps the most eagerly sought of all African birds. In the afternoon you will have a game drive during which you will enjoy beautiful sceneries of the gentle hills blending beautifully with lowland swamps and water bodies as you search for Wildlife. This is the only park with the Big Five in Rwanda and a couple of other animals.

DAY 3 : Akagera South-Karenge Bush camp

Today have a game drive towards to the north end of the park with a game safari through the Kilala plains. This area is rich in the wildlife population in Akagera. Absolutely all of the mentioned experiences that make Akagera a special place are the great views from Karenge Bush Camp. Relax in the evening here.

DAY 4 : Akagera National park Kigali

Start the day with a morning safari drive for the last opportunity to spot animals that you could have missed previously. This is a short drive for about 2hrs before exiting the park. Lunch at Epic hotel at Nyagatare before heading to Kigali for your outbound flight back home. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, End of service.
