DAY 1: Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be met by our guide who will transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park, located in the northwestern part of Uganda. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the endangered white rhinos. You’ll have lunch en route and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon

DAY 2 : Birding in the Delta Area

On the second day of the tour, we’ll start early with a morning game drive in the delta area of the park. This area is known for its diverse bird species, including the rare Shoebill Stork, Goliath Heron, and the White-crested Turaco, among others.

You’ll also have a chance to spot other wildlife species such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. After the game drive, we’ll return to the lodge for breakfast and then head out for a boat cruise on the Nile River. The cruise offers spectacular views of the Murchison Falls as well as more bird species such as African Fish Eagles, Pied Kingfishers, and the elusive Pel’s Fishing Owl.

DAY 3 : Birding in the Savannah and Woodlands

After an early breakfast, we’ll embark on a game drive in the savannah and woodland areas of the park. This is the best time to spot the various bird species in the park, such as the Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, the Northern Carmine Bee-eater, and the Red-throated Bee-eater, among others. We’ll return to the lodge for lunch and take an afternoon siesta or visit the top of the falls for a scenic view of the Nile River cascading down the rock formation

DAY 4 : Departure

On the final day of the tour, we’ll have breakfast at the lodge and then start our journey back to Entebbe International Airport. We’ll make a stopover at Masindi town for lunch before proceeding to the airport for your onward flight.
