You will have a Kampala City cultural safari tour and view all the seven hills in the city. Detailed 6 Days Uganda Cultural Safari
DAY 1: Arrival in Kampala
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you may have a chance to explore the city and visit some of its cultural landmarks, such as the Uganda Museum or the Kasubi Tombs.
DAY 2: Drive to Fort Portal
After breakfast, you will depart for Fort Portal, a beautiful town in western Uganda. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the countryside and stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity. In Fort Portal, you will visit the Toro Kingdom Palace and learn about the history and culture of the Toro people.
DAY 3: Visit the Batwa Pygmies
On the third day of your 6 Days Uganda Cultural Safari, you will visit the Batwa Pygmies in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The Batwa are a tribe of forest-dwelling people who were displaced from their ancestral lands when the Bwindi Forest was gazetted as a national park. You will learn about their traditional way of life and how they have adapted to the changes brought about by their displacement. You will also have the opportunity to participate in traditional Batwa dances and music.
DAY 4: Visit a Traditional Village
You will spend the day in a traditional village, where you will learn about the customs and traditions of the local people. You will participate in activities such as cooking, basket weaving, and traditional dances. You will also visit a local school and interact with the children
DAY 5: Drive to Jinja
On the fifth day of your 6 Days Uganda Cultural Safari, you will depart for Jinja, a town on the shores of Lake Victoria. Jinja is known for its rich history and is the source of the Nile River. Along the way, you will visit the Mabira Forest and learn about the importance of conservation in preserving Uganda’s natural heritage.
DAY 6: Visit the source of the Nile
On your last day, you will visit the Source of the Nile and take a boat ride on the river. You will also visit the Bujagali Falls, which are known for their scenic beauty. After lunch, you will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
